| Have you tried looping them over the bed itself? There are lots of restraints out there that work by looping around the bed that work wonders. The image below is of patient restraints for a hospital, but the general idea is the same. You could get a central strap & then thread the existing straps through them already if possible. If not, then you may just have to sell the old straps on ebay (assuming that they aren't incredibly used & can be cleaned). Also, have you tried having the bondage in another area where there are better tie points? Doing it in a new area could be really fun & exciting because it's in an area that you don't normally associate with sex or bondage. |

| Not sure that I can help out on the used restraints part, although I would suspect that it might be difficult as they probably aren't re-sold very often, given that they are medical equipment. Perusing the auction sites might be your best bet. One idea is to improvise. While leather medical restraints might be out of your price range, basic leather bondage cuffs should be affordable, often around US$40-$50 for a good pair new. They probably can be made to act in the same manner with a little ingenuity. Just something to consider. |

| I think it depends on where you live. I think it's okay to buy SOME stuff online.. but if you're new to bondange.. then you might want to go to an actual shop. They usually have really nice workers there who can help you look for what you want and give you recommendations, tips.. etc. In Chicago, where i live, if you go to Boystown.. they have quite a few specialty shops: bondage, leather, general sex shops, etc. But you might want to check online or the directory (we have a gay directory here.. i dont know about where you live >.<) for local stores around you. =] |
